The Republic of Ireland beat Israel 3-0 in their controversial Nations League fixture at a neutral venue in Hungary.
Players did not shake hands with each other before their meeting at the Nagyerdei Stadion in Debrecen and there was no exchange between Ireland captain Dara O'Shea and Israel's Manor Solomon.
Ireland players also appeared to bow their heads while Israel's national anthem was played out before kick-off.
Black armbands were worn by Ireland players, which Football Association of Ireland (FAI) chief executive David Courell said was a gesture to recognise "all lives lost" in the Israel-Gaza conflict.
Goalkeeper Gavin Bazunu was the only player who chose not to play after the squad voted to proceed with the match on Saturday amid calls for the game not to go ahead.
Goals from Troy Parrott, Adam Idah and Jack Moylan sealed the victory for Heimir Hallgrimsson's side.
Moylan celebrated his goal by kissing and raising his black armband before kissing his badge.
Republic of Ireland manager Heimir Hallgrimsson:
"It has been some of the toughest days of my coaching career, but its not about me.
"The game, the desire the players showed to make a statement on the pitch - they are football players, they wanted to show on the pitch, make that talking with their feet.
"What they did was impressive. In tough times that's when you find your leaders, there were so many players that stepped up in these tough times. The energy levels they showed was impressive.
"The performance was good given all the preparation, the lack of training, all of our meetings were about something other than football.
"I couldn't be more proud of the players.
"By playing I know we are making some people unhappy. By playing we are making others happy. Winning probably pleases everyone, but there will still be people angry that we played the game.
"I hope we can settle that slowly down and stay together as a team. I wish people in Ireland continue supporting these boys, because they certainly deserve it."
